Gorge and Waterfall Deluxe Tour
Adventure within World Heritage Kakadu; 4 wheel drive to Jim Jim and Twin Falls
Itinerary: As the sun rises over Kakadu, drive along roads winding through savannah woodland to the edge of the Arnhemland Escarpment. Bushwalk through the monsoon forest surrounded by towering 250m cliffs towards Jim Jim Falls. After a short drive you will ford the deepwater Jim Jim Creek before arriving at the Twin Falls car park. Twin Falls is one of the most picturesque areas in the Top End. Here you will take a short boat trip up a gorge filled with clear water and populated with large tropical fish. The lucky observer may also see the peculiar Pig-nosed Turtle; Australia's largest freshwater turtle. There is also the possiblilty of spotting a Saltwater Crocodile. These fearsome creatures have made this once idylic swimming hole exclusively theirs!

YELLOW WATER WETLANDS CRUISE
Where expectation and reality meet.
Take the 1 1/2 hour cruise to the dawn of time on Yellow Water Billabong located at the end of Jim Jim Creek, a tributary of the South Alligator River. The South Alligator river system, which is the largest in the Park, contains extensive wetlands that include river channels, floodplains and backwater swamps.
About one third of Australia's bird species are represented in Kakadu National Park, with at least 60 species found in the wetlands. Whistling ducks and Magpie Geese are the most abundant.
Yellow Water Cruises provide you with a unique opportunity to experience this diverse and sublimely beautiful area and its associated wildlife. The cruise boats operate year round and are skippered by experienced guides.
